Itinerary day by day

Day 1

Arrival and First Day at Akagera National Park

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Akagera National Park. The journey itself provides stunning views of the Rwandan countryside. Upon reaching the park, check into your deluxe tented camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the eastern part of the park, known for its diverse wildlife. Keep your camera ready for sightings of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and various antelope species. As the day concludes, return to the camp for a sumptuous dinner and a restful night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2

Lake Ihema Boat Safari and Sunset at Mutumba Hills

After an early breakfast, head to Lake Ihema for a captivating boat safari. Glide through the serene waters while spotting hippos, crocodiles, and an array of bird species that call the lake home. Following the boat safari, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake. In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk, immersing yourself in the park’s flora and fauna with the assistance of an experienced ranger. As the sun begins to set, head to Mutumba Hills for a breathtaking panoramic view and a chance to witness the magical transition from day to night. Return to the camp for a delightful dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 3

unrise Game Drive and Farewell to Akagera

Start your day with a sunrise game drive, venturing into the park during the early hours when the wildlife is most active. Capture the beauty of the sunrise as you encounter predators and herbivores alike. After the game drive, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast. Spend the morning at leisure, taking in the last moments of Akagera’s natural wonders. Enjoy a final lunch at the camp before bidding farewell to the park. Our representative will transfer you back to Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
